Customer Responsibility: Customers agree that prior to allowing I Plus to perform repair services on any computer; it is the customer’s responsibility to back-up the data, software, and information on the computer drives and/or disks. Failure of the customer to maintain routine back-ups, making them available at the time of repair, can limit the ability of I Plus to fully restore the computer to original condition. I Plus is dedicated to data protection and restoration, however, without back-up data prior to data corruption it is difficult, expensive, and in many cases impossible to fully restore all information to original condition. Customers understand that I Plus shall not be responsible under any circumstance for any loss or corruption of data and/or software.
Scheduling: The business hours of I Plus are Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM—Evenings and Weekends by appointment only. Please call during business hours to make appointments. Appointments will be scheduled to meet the needs of the customer within the constraints of the I Plus workload and previous commitments. I Plus places the customer on a first come, first serve basis. I Plus provides emergency service, canceling all appointments short of other emergencies, to respond to the customer’s immediate needs (additional charges apply). I Plus will continue to work on the emergency until the machine is functional and the emergency resolved. Additional repairs, if necessary, can be scheduled and repaired under normal scheduling practices and rates after the resolution of the emergency.
Service Calls: Customers understand that there is a 7 to 10 business day turn around on all in house service calls. Time will vary based on the extent of the repairs and the number of customers in line for service. If a customer wishes to have immediate service, emergency rates will apply.
Access: Your I Plus technician must receive full access to the computer to be serviced and your consent and cooperation to enter your residence or business in order to provide on site service.
Confidentially: In the process of repairing the computer and/or restoring files, your I Plus technician can be required to view detailed information in data or software files that the customer considers to be confidential. I Plus agrees to keep all customer information completely confidential within the legal limits that I Plus is bound to operate under.
Cancellation of orders: A 30% Re-Stocking fee will be charged on all cancelled orders. This is applied to all material ordered but, not I Plus labor. Labor will be billed as time accrued repairing the machine up to the time of the cancellation, free diagnostic time excluded. A 2 hour notice for on site appointment cancellation or re-scheduling is required. On-Site Appointments broken without proper notice (no one home) will be billed at the standard 1 hour minimum plus travel time at our prevailing rates unless prior arrangements have been made. Appointments will be re-scheduled at the discretion of I Plus.
Customer Satisfaction is very important to us. If you are not satisfied with the service you receive from I Plus please call 304.478.4119 within 30 days of the invoice date. We will work toward a remedy at no additional cost; provided that the difficulty stems from the original problem repaired by I Plus.
All new parts will be used to repair your equipment unless new parts are no longer available. Refurbished parts will not be used unless the customer agrees. Manufacturer warranties are applied to all new parts used in the repair of your equipment. If a new part fails under the manufacturer’s warranty period I Plus will replace the failed part with the manufacturer’s new replacement part. I Plus will provide the labor to replace the failed part but will have to charge travel time for On Site warranty work.
Billing:
On Site Service: All on site service call invoices are due in full 30 days from the invoice date. A finance charge of 1.5% (18% annually) will be applied to all over due invoices or any unpaid balances.
In House Service: All in house service call invoices are due at the time equipment is checked out from I Plus possession. All equipment will become property of I Plus until time that bill payment is received. At such time all equipment will be returned to the customer with no constraint to I Plus.
All other sales are payable at the time of purchase.
Labor is billed at a one hour minimum for all repairs and in ¼ hour increments beyond the first hour.
Travel time is billed based on the number of miles driven by our technician, from the time we leave the office until you log the technician in. Travel is only billed to your location we do not charge for travel after we leave. Our current mileage rate is $0.98 per mile. No travel is billed if our closest location is within 10 miles of your facility.
There will be a $20.00 fee on all returned checks.
